As we mature and grow wiser, our skin changes, no doubt about it. Our whole body changes, and if you are like me, you will want to take care of your skin the best way you that you can. I always say; – When we know better, we can do better.
I use the therapeutic grade oils only, no exception, the pure and potent ones. Make sure you do the same. Quality is everything when you want great results. The oils have so many uses, but right now, let us focus on the skin. The mature beautiful skin!
Let it be noted that beautiful skin comes from within, from hydration and alkalization. So, besides using amazing oils topically, make sure you are feeding yourself what you deserve. Clean organic fresh fruits and vegetables in abundance. Clean yourself out through detoxification, as what you are holding on to becomes you. What you do not eliminate will cause degeneration. Check out my online program HERE if you are in the spring cleansing mode. If your body needs some extra loving right now.
Back to the oils and the glow that they bring forth. They nourish, clean, strengthen and heal all at the same time. I have experimented and found a favorite bled for my face and neck. I am eager to hear what you think! I never leave home without these babies. We are a great team!
Play with them and see which ones speaks to you. We all have different preferences, and that is half the fun. Start with getting your basic oils onboard, and you can slowly build your tool box from there. My basic five, that I always go to has changed over the last few years. Showing me that as I change, my needs change. Right now my absolute favorites are Frankincense, Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint and Rosemary.
Only put on your skin what you would ingest. Anything you put on your skin you eat, literally. It goes straight into your bloodstream. This is very important to remember.
My Youthful face blend:

On the rest of my body, depending on the season, I will use coconut oil during summer, and some shea butter at times, during very cool winters.
These oils have been around for a very long time, so we are simply revisiting natures wonders. I am hooked on them, simply in love. Until you have smelled and used the oils, you can not even imagine their beauty and vibration.
Hippocrates used the aromatic oils, and they have been well embraced in the Ayurvedic medicine. The Egyptians and also the Greeks used essential oils in their practices of therapeutic massage and aromatherapy. The Romans used the aromatic oils to enhance personal hygiene and health. The Persians began to refine distillation methods for extracting essential oils from aromatic plants. We find that the essential oils were even used throughout the dark ages for their anti-bacterial and fragrant properties. Now, in modern time, we are embracing these healing gifts of nature, and learning more about how to use them in our everyday life. The therapeutic grade oils can be incorporated into any healing protocol, and has a place in any home-healing-tool-box.
What are essential oils?
The essential oils are different than fatty oils like the oils that come from nuts and seeds. These are not oils like coconut oil, walnut oil or olive oil. Those have larger molecules, and cannot penetrate the cells in the same manner as these essential oils can. Carefully distilled from organic plant material, these are 100% natural substances. We call them essences, because they represent the essence of the plant. Essential oils are highly vibrational aromatic liquids distilled from flowers, roots, herbs, trees, seeds, scrubs and bushes. They’re what give herbs and spices their flavor and aroma, and flowers their scent.

When life gives you the option to choose natures wonders, always do. By allowing the energy of pure essence, we are allowing the cells to bathe in the light.
Be sure to use only 100% pure therapeutic-grade essential oils and follow all label warnings and instructions. Essential oils should not be used in the eyes, inside the ear canal, or in open wounds. If redness or irritation occurs when using essential oils topically, simply apply any vegetable oil such as fractionated coconut oil or olive oil to the affected area. Consult your physician before using essential oils if you are pregnant or under a doctor’s care.
